LOCATION: West Michigan Regional Airport (BIV), 60 Geurink Blvd, Holland, MI 49423

DATE AND TIME: Saturday, August 20, 9 AM - 12 PM

WHO: Flight Path Students (invitation only) and local Middle/High School Students (Rising 6th - Rising 12th grades)

WHAT: Flight experiences for selected students 

STEM Flights is proud to participate in the annual  Holland CareAffaire and Runway 5K. This unique event is a community event to raise funding for Wings of Mercy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free flight transportation to individuals who need health care services. This day long event will also have organizations providing youth aviation education and activities. You can register for the West Michigan Runway 5K with this link (click here). The registration fee includes a premium t-shirt and a pancake breakfast at the Holland CareAffaire.

 

Space is limited for the flight experiences and we will be determined by a lottery system, students and parents can sign up below using the link.  STEM Flights will reach out directly to confirm participation. Those who are not selected to fly at this event will remain on the list and will be paired with a local Pilot Mentor at a later date. Question? Email carley@stemflights.org

Pilot Mentors are needed for this event!  Share your love of aviation and volunteer your time to fly local students. STEM Flights will provide checklists, flight information, and waivers of liability. Pilots can expect to fly one 30 minute mission.
