The "Winchester STEM and Aeronautics Program" is funded through the NASA TEAM II Community Anchor initiative, led by STEM Flights in partnership with Winchester Regional Airport, Winchester Regional Aviation Foundation, and regional public schools.

This initiative connects middle-school students across Frederick, Clarke, Shenandoah, and Warren Counties and Winchester City to real aerospace career exploration. Supported by NASA’s Aeronautics Mission Directorate, the program will reach over 1,000 students through Aerospace Day, hands-on classroom visits, and ongoing educational resources designed to inspire the next generation of innovators and aviators.
